Background. Back in 2000 I came up with the idea to create a website about dyeing hair punky colors and provide informational guides and articles as well as create a community for people who dye their hair. I had just started getting more into dyeing my hair back then, and soon realized that at the time there really was not much information on the Internet about dyeing and bleaching hair (of course that has since changed quite a lot!). A few years later as time went on I stopped working on that project and lost the domain.

In 2007 I got inspired again to come back as iDyeMyHair.com and get some content back up online. It was pretty obvious that the informational websites and social networking groups on the Internet were much greater than it was back in 2000! But it was an interest to me and I enjoyed working on the website so I decided to stick with it.

In 2008 I decided to turn the website into more than just an informational website by starting my own business. I formed iDyeMyHair LLC in January 2008 to sell hair dye and accessories online. I spent the next several months working hard to redesign the website and prepare for starting my own online business!

The iDyeMyHair.com store launched in March, 2008. It wasn’t long before I got my first sale.

What Now. Since the lauch of the iDyeMyHair.com store in March 2008, things have been going well. Sales have been increasing over time and I expect it to only get better. iDyeMyHair.com will continue to offer low competitive pricing and fast shipping for all customers. Customer satisfaction is very important to me. I have gotten some really great feedback from my customers and it truly makes me proud of the services and products that are offered at iDyeMyhair.com.

The Blog. I started up this blog as a way to increase communication with customers and bring more interest to the website. Blogging is more of a personal way for me to communicate with visitors. It will help me keep customers up to date with new products and things going on with the website and business, as well a way to discuss interesting hair dye topics. I’m excited for adding this new feature to the website and I hope it will provide more interesting content to visitors whether they are here to shop, obtain information, or just to surfing around.
